1. About GayUnity

GayUnity is a UK-only, 18+ LGBTQ+ social networking and dating platform designed to help people connect, communicate, and build friendships or relationships in a safe and inclusive environment.

GayUnity operates in accordance with UK law, including regulations relating to online safety, data protection, and user-generated content.


2. Eligibility

To use GayUnity, you must:

  • Be a resident of the United Kingdom

  • Provide accurate and truthful information

  • Agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable UK laws

GayUnity does not permit under-18s under any circumstances.


3. Account Responsibility

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account

  • One account per person only

  • Fake profiles, impersonation, or bots are strictly prohibited

GayUnity reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.


4. Community Standards & Behaviour

GayUnity is built on respect, consent, and inclusivity.

You agree NOT to:

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others

  • Post hate speech, discrimination, or harmful content

  • Share explicit sexual content without consent

  • Upload illegal, violent, or exploitative material

  • Attempt scams, fraud, or financial manipulation

  • Share private messages or images without permission

Violation of these rules may result in immediate removal.


5. Dating & Social Interaction Disclaimer

GayUnity provides a platform for connection only.

  • We do not guarantee matches, relationships, or outcomes

  • Users interact at their own risk

  • Always meet in public places and take personal safety precautions

  • GayUnity is not responsible for offline interactions


6. Images, Videos & Content Compliance (UK Law)

All uploaded content must comply with UK law, including but not limited to:

  • The Online Safety Act

  • The Sexual Offences Act

  • The Obscene Publications Act

You must NOT upload:

  • Content involving minors (zero tolerance)

  • Non-consensual or private sexual content

  • Extreme, violent, or illegal material

GayUnity reserves the right to remove content and report violations where legally required.


7. User-Generated Content

By uploading content, you confirm that:

  • You own the content or have permission to post it

  • It does not violate UK law or third-party rights

  • GayUnity may display, moderate, or remove it as needed

You retain ownership of your content, but grant GayUnity a non-exclusive licence to use it for platform operation.


8. Privacy & Data Protection

GayUnity respects your privacy and complies with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

9. Moderation & Enforcement

GayUnity operates active moderation to keep the platform safe.

We reserve the right to:

All moderation decisions are final.


10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time.
GayUnity may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or UK law.


11. Limitation of Liability

GayUnity is provided “as is”.

We are not liable for:

  • Technical interruptions or downtime

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where prohibited by UK law.
